For well over ten years Lloyd Grey has been a key business partner of the Rohrig Group, a leading construction company with offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. With consistent growth and entry into new markets, Rohrig identified a need to review its brand strategy and undertake a major brand refresh. Lloyd Grey Design was selected as their partner on that very significant journey.
Over a period of many months, Lloyd Grey had unfettered access to all stakeholders relevant to the successful project outcomes including executive management, divisional heads, line staff and clients. Workshops, interviews and research offered us unique insights into Rohrig’s internal and external communications workflows. These insights helped us to develop a deeper understanding of what, why, how and when Rohrig needed to communicate to their stakeholders. This fuelled the development of an enduring Rohrig branding communications strategy and comprehensive tactical program to help them achieve ‘cut through’ with all their internal and external messaging.
One of the key turning points in this process was the development of an internal value proposition for Rohrig that underpins every internal and external touchpoint. We developed a full suite of sales presentation tools and branding support systems to leverage the value proposition both internally with staff and externally with clients. We addressed site, office and livery signage, created advertising campaigns and other additional brand awareness initiatives.
Lloyd Grey knows that any branding exercise is only a success if the momentum continues long after the implementation project is complete. A crucial element in the enduring success of this program was the development of an overarching physical and electronic Style Guide to ensure the Rohrig brand equity investment is protected long term. Our Lloyd Grey team continues to work with key individuals within the Rohrig sales and marketing function to build brand protection acumen and alignment with Rohrig’s brand essence.
